Under the Kilt

---- Police Checkered Line ----

Don't ask the question unless you can handle the answer. This page shows a more intimate view of the band. We have news and information here about the general workings of the band and the upcoming events. We hope that you enjoy what this has to offer. Oh and you'll have to come up with your own answer for that burning question.

We have a new Pipe Major in Dr. Bob Graham of Byron Center. Dr. Bob has played with the Windsor Police, Grand Rapids and District and Glendaloch. He has tutored under Archie Cairns and also performs Piobaireachd. He is a welcome addition to the band as we move forward to make ourselves a stronger musical force. Fred Lewis will remain a vital part of the band as Pipe Major Emeritus and a member of the Pipe Corp.

We also have a new addition to the executive board in the manner of Holly Nolan. Holly has been a member of the band in the capacity of keyboards and organist during concerts. Holly has been with us for a couple of years now and we are excited to have her increase her role.

We have a full line up of events this year and that list is always being added to with a brand new group of sets ready to blow you away. Keep checking our list of events page for more information on where and when to catch the band.

Frank Chapman Award We have had success at our first outing under the new PM and quite a few new faces. The old faces are very important to and yielded the Frank Chapman award for best parade band at Alma this year. We hope to continue to work hard the rest of the season and continue to give the best performances we can.
